Event Details
Course Overview
Part Two of a two part course focusing on Usability for the Public Sector - you can attend either or both days, however this course does presume you understand what the principle features of usability are, and how they fit with service delivery, web development and website management.
Independent external usability testing is the gold standard of usability testing. But budget constraints often only allow this to be done once every few years. In between time, it is much better to do DIY usability testing than to do no usability testing. This practical hands-on course will give you access to the techniques used by professional usability consultants, tailored to meet the constraints of Do It Yourself testing in the public sector.
Prerequisites:
You have an understanding of the basic principles of usability, having either read one of the standard books on usability or information architecture, or have attended an introduction to usability training course, such as our: Applying Usability in the Public Sector
